INITIATIVES
What I will work for
I would work to expand and improve the County Park system with an emphasis on trails.
I would also work to updating the County Master Development Plan. The master plan hasn't been updated since 2008.
I would support the Sheriff's Department receiving new equipment to better protect the County.
My Experience
I have been a member of the MU Extension Council in Clay County since 1995 and have learned how the County works. I have been the financial secretary and County Chair, so I've been involved in the county budgeting process working with the Commissioners on programming that was being done by Extension in the County. I'm also on the Liberty Park Board since 2010 and have advised on the Park Board Budget.

Approve funding requests and contracts that obligate taxpayers
Approve policies that impact how you live, work and play in Clay County
Appoint members to county commissions and boards like Planning & Zoning and Board of Equalization
